About the Journal

RBMED – Brazilian Scientific Journal of Health and Medicine is an open-access technical-scientific journal edited by Editora Acadêmica Aluz, aimed at disseminating studies, reviews, reports, and critical reflections across the various fields of health. Published in digital format, with a continuous submission system and semiannual issues, RBMED accepts manuscripts in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, promoting the circulation of knowledge at both national and international levels.

The journal’s mission is to contribute to the scientific and technological advancement of medicine and health sciences by fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and disseminating evidence capable of informing public policies, clinical practices, and health promotion strategies.

RBMED adopts the principles and practices of Open Science, ensuring editorial transparency, ethical integrity, and scientific collaboration. All articles undergo double-blind peer review and are published under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 International license, which allows sharing and reuse of the content with proper credit to the authors.
